Stallions, one mare at a time please, no stealing two or three, or whole herds in one steal that is what a challenge is for.
To steal, put in riddle, lyric, or poem form, or list form. You must hint at the mare's name, the terra, and the King or Queen of the terra she belongs to.
Any stallion can steal, but they must have or belong to a herd territory already. Most stallions steal if they would like to have another stud's mate, queen, lady, or just want more mares for their herd. This can also be done in the case that a mare has a foal and the father is in another herd, and the father steals the foal from the mother so that he can raise the foal himself.
Once posted, stallions must try to figure out if it is their mare or not. If it is, then block the steal. If the steal is succesful and the mare's stallion does not respond, post the actual name, terra, and king, then a staff member will post that it was successful and that you may claim the mare.
If it is sucessful, the stallion can keep the mare for ten days, then the mare can challenge the stud who stole her for her freedom. If she does not win her freedom back in the challenge, then she must stay in the terra for another ten days until she eventually wins her freedom, the stallion lets her go, or her former stallion challenges/sneaks her back.
A stallion may not sneak/challenge his mare back until the ten day period has passed.
To Block::
Simply post a messaging saying you block this mare. Make sure you tell what her name is and where she is from in your block. (ie- I block ___ from stealing ___ from ___)
Mares - No hinting to your stallions that you are being stolen! They must figure it out themselves! Also Mares, no posting on the thread "Are you trying to steal me?" or something like that. That is the same as hinting to your stallion, and you will automatically be stolen if you do so.
Check this board regularly!!! You never know when one of your mares will be caught in a steal.
